Environmental Consulting Firm Relocates to Lafayette

Following its purchase by TPG client, Bernhard Capital Partners last year, ATC Group Services has relocated its headquarters from Denver, CO to Lafayette, LA.

With offices in 70 cities across the country and 1,400 employees, ATC has been one of the nation’s fastest growing multidisciplinary environmental consulting and engineering firms.  They bring a broad range of environmental and engineering services allowing their clients to efficiently meet projects needs from environmental assessment, regulatory guidance under federal, state and local regulations, and potential site remediation.  Their specialties also include working in the downstream sector of oil and gas: refineries and petrochemical plants.

Lafayette Economic Development Authority President and CEO Gregg Gothreaux said ATC moving back to Lafayette is positive news amid these troubled times and unknown future. Gothreaux also added that some of Acadiana’s oilfield hands who lost their jobs have found employment at ATC.
