
Hunter Hall joins The Picard Group as Deputy Director of Federal Affairs

Hunter Hall has joined The Picard Group, a national governmental affairs and consulting services firm based in Lafayette, Louisiana, with offices in Baton Rouge and Washington, D.C. Mr. Hall will work with the current federal affairs team, Emily Bacque, Paige H. Hightower and former Congressman Rodney Alexander, to develop and grow the firm’s governmental affairs services on the federal level.
Prior to joining The Picard Group, Mr. Hall was appointed by President Trump as Special Assistant to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. for Secretary Wilbur Ross. Mr. Hall coordinated the operations and logistics of the Office of the Secretary, interfacing with governments and corporations, both foreign and domestic, while assisting on various issues including energy, trade and infrastructure.
Before his appointment to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Mr. Hall served as State Director of Arizona for the Republican National Committee and Donald J. Trump for President, successfully building and managing a statewide campaign with 18 offices.
Prior to the Trump Campaign, Mr. Hall served as Southwest Regional Director for U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy for two years, acting as a liaison to government entities, constituent groups, and business groups, and advising the senator on developments and issues pertaining to veterans, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, ports, aviation, agriculture and seafood. Before serving the people of Louisiana in Senator Cassidy’s district office, Mr. Hall worked for the Republican National Committee on then Congressman Cassidy’s successful campaign for U.S. Senate.

A Louisiana native, Mr. Hall was involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana, Lafayette’s the705 and the Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week planning committee. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and resides in Washington, D.C.
