Lori Leblanc And The Picard Group Form Affiliation For Energy And Environmental Industries

Through an affiliation with The Picard Group, a national governmental affairs and consulting services firm with offices in Lafayette, Baton Rouge and Washington D.C., Lori LeBlanc, President of Lori LeBlanc, LLC, will now lend her consulting expertise to the Lafayette-based firm’s notable list of clients. LeBlanc will enhance the firm’s energy, environmental and infrastructure advocacy efforts while focusing on regulatory and policy issues at the local, state and federal levels. Under this affiliation, The Picard Group will provide state and federal lobbying services to LeBlanc’s clients on an as needed basis.

Lori LeBlanc, LLC currently works on advocacy and grassroots efforts for several energy and environmental clients throughout Louisiana. Her wealth of knowledge in the energy and environmental arena are in part due to her understanding of the complexities of governmental regulations and federal policy. Her distinguished list of clients include: Morganza Action Coalition, North Lafourche Levee District, Port Cameron, LLC, Gulf Economic Survival Team and Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association.

Prior to forming her own consulting firm, LeBlanc served as Deputy Secretary for the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources. She also served as DNR’s Economic Stimulus Director where she coordinated and distributed over $90 million in energy related economic stimulus programs. Prior to joining DNR, she served as the Operations Manager for Separator Spares International, LLC where she was responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations.


LeBlanc received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from Auburn University and a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science and Toxicology from Louisiana State University.
